I've had many traumatic events in my life: 3 bouts with cancer, multiple surgeries, a husband who left me when I was diagnosed (after 19 yrs),a very nasty divorce, 3 family deaths, severe adrenal fatigue... All of my body hair fell out, everything, everywhere. I had a aurgery as recently as 10 months ago. I've been completely bald for 2 years. I am now 50. My hair keeps starting to grow in but quickly falls out. I was contemplating having a hair restoration procedure but my doctors advised waiting. Any ideas? Thank-you.
Editor's Comments,
Hello there. Sorry to hear about your condition but just to let you know that you are not alone. There are millions of hair loss sufferers that share the same plight with you. Be strong and you will sure to overcome these tests.
As for your hair condition, I would strongly suggest listening to your doctor's advice in not doing anything now until he or she thinks you are ready. It will be quite tough growing back the hairs and also hair restoration doesn't seem to be a good option for your case as you will have to further endow more surgical procedures and medications.
Many people with your condition opt for hair prosthesis or hair wigs because it's a durable option. High quality wigs nowadays are very natural looking and unless inspected up real close, nobody can actually tell the difference. I do think that this is a more feasible option for you considering the fact that your body might not be strong enough now to support healthy hair growth. Maybe you can use this as a temporary remedy for hair loss until you recover?
